This place is phenomenal although pricey. We had a bday dinner here with about 8-10 people. Fixed menu about $100 per person but all said and done we were about $250/PP. Everything was so freaking good. We ordered a couple of things off the menu like the orange blossom, which was delicious and several bottles of wine. The menus were even labeled about the bday. I want to go back to try the full menu. The service was exceptional and the staff was knowledgeable about everything. Had no issues getting more drinks or additional items when we ran out - we were immediately served another drink without any delays Highly recommend this place. Thank you!

I have dined at so many great restaurants but since my visit to Scopa last week I'd have to say nothing has ever come close to the experience I had there! First of all.. I received such a warm welcome to all most gorgeous restaurant. The manager actually welcomed my husband and I and asked if we were comfortable with our seating and asked if he could help with wine selection! Our food server was lovely and I only wish I could remember her name. We asked for advice with some menu choices and she was wonderful with suggestions.. everything from squash blossoms, eggplant parmigiana, chicken parmigiana and many other smaller plates so that we could try as many dishes as possible.. there wasn't one dish that wasn't exceptional!! I have to say.. this so far in my almost 70 years of life was my favorite meal!!! If only I lived closer!!!Thank you Scopa Italian Roots for a wonderful evening!!!

The fried squid ink calamari was the literal best thing on the menu. I would come back 10 times over just for the calamari. The seasoning and the creativity of this were incredible. The burrata was so good as well. The addition of cherries and honey were the perfect pairing. The scallops were okay but felt like they were missing something. When we watched tournament of champions and Antonia made the fried squid ink calamari we knew we had to come try and it was worth the experience.

My favorite Italian spot in the westside. The calamari with ink squid is perfection. Squash blossom with ricotta makes me so happy. Baby beets, the crab ravioli, chicken parm finished with cheesecake. I highly recommend this selection: Oh I didn't eat this all by myself btw. Ate with friends. Don't forget the negroni :)

Came here with a group of friends so had the chance to try so many things! T bone steak was so tender, the chimichurri? Sauce balanced out the salt on the steak. Raw Brussels sprouts salad was so refreshing, easy to eat. Shaved brussel sprouts, cheese, lemon. Can't go wrong. Lasagna was super filling for its size. Also good. Ricotta crostini - toasted bread with this airy ricotta with a balanced mix of rosemary. Light, aromatic. Such a fun dish to start off the meal! Steak tartare was pretty good too! Maybe not an absolute. Would definitely come back. They have valet but there's some street parking around the block if you're willing to walk a bit.

Scopa is such an aesthetically pleasing restaurant! Stopped in for Friday night dinner and the lights were dim which made the lit up bar area look even nicer! We showed up a little earlier than our reservation and had drinks at the bar while we waited. Once we sat we had the Italian chopped salad and the crispy squash blossoms to start. The chopped salad was hearty and delicious. The crispy squash blossoms were one of the best appetizers I've had at an Italian restaurant! The delicate crisp of the flower paired with the rich and creamy ricotta inside and the tangy tomato sauce for dipping was just amazing! The penne was just okay in my opinion but my partner really enjoys his whole branzino. Great date night location!

Laying on the couch after coming home painfully full from Scopa Mama Mia I don't know where to start! The food was fantastic. Favorite dishes were the ricotta crostini and the creste rigate. Everything else was fantastic, those were just the most memorable. My next favorite items (in order from fav to least fav) were the rice ball, ricotta cheesecake, raw Brussel sprouts salad, fried calamari, and then the penne. The service was fantastic! Andres did a great job serving us and we got to speak with the manager, Chelsea, who was also lovely. I enjoyed the dim lighting and the general vibe of the restaurant. It was a bit loud, but that kind of added the the Italian family vibe they have going. I have to say, the most impressive thing was the playlist!

Chef Antonia Lofasa is one of my six FAVORITE chefs. WHO KNEW???? You'd think I would have been in top of this right? Especially since I used to live a block away from this establishment. Sheesh, it took my good buddy and Yelp friend to recommend this place and what a pleasant experience. The food Anything and Everything 5 stars The drink (adult beverages) Anything and Everything 5 stars The ambiance 5 stars The service 5 stars And I can go on and on... I can't wait to go back there. Please note: parking on the side streets off Washington and across the way from Abbot Kinney Blvd is what you should look for. There is a VALET parking lot for this establishment and I think it's about $20 We decided on share plates so we could try as many dishes as possible and the arancino was my pick of the evening. BEST arancino EVER While I never had the pleasure of meeting Chef Lofasa in person which I am looking forward to the day) I can say that her food is on the Top Chef lists of MUST try foods....
